Samantha and Joseph

The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station Haddam, Connecticut

I first got to work with Samantha and Joe on an epic, foggy autumn day last year. We got some killer artsy shots, and they were a blast to work with!

Fast forward to last Friday, I saw them for the first time since then! When I walked into the bridal suite, I THOUGHT I heard Samantha mention something about swollen feet from being 12 weeks pregnant. Well, being a mom and a woman myself, I didn’t want to question that - since I wasn’t sure if I heard her correctly, so I waited (impatiently mind you) to hear again. Sure enough! Sam confirmed! She was not only 12 weeks pregnant, BUT she could also find out the gender of the baby on that day (THEIR WEDDING DAY) just by looking at her phone. Sam’s attendant from Riverview, Maria, had the genius idea of her and I looking at the portal message from the doctor and relating the gender to the DJ who would then light up the room in pink or blue to reveal the gender.

Needless to say, it was a SUPER exciting and emotional day! Not only was it the perfect wedding day, Samantha and Joe got to find out the gender of their first baby! They desperately wanted a boy, so when the room lit up in blue, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house *que the gooseybumps*!

It was such an epic day! We’re so excited for Samantha and Joe on their newest adventures of not only being newlyweds, expecting parents to a beautiful baby boy but also new home owners!!!

Congratulations, Samantha and Joe!!!

All our love!
