Amy and Jesse Litchfield Inn, Litchfield, Connecticut

I first met Amy and Jesse when I got to take their engagement photos at their darling house with their adorable and hilarious cats. It was instantly so much fun, and I knew right away they were the type of couple that were going to end up being lifelong friends.

Jesse lit a bonfire, they made tacos and had chips and drinks (even got me to try a form of bourbon), I became obsessed with Amy’s decor taste, and I loved watching every moment of their unbelievable chemistry.

I was so excited to photograph their wedding on a gorgeous day at the Litchfield Inn (which I really want to go on a romantic getaway to now). The vibes of the day started out purely perfect with Amy having the greatest wedding party I’ve ever met. They were insanely fun and then I met Jesse’s party which was equally as epic.

The day was full of so much love, fun, laughter, INCREDIBLE taste in music (I pretty much created an entire playlist based off of their wedding day) and lots of fun little surprises: Amy and Jesse’s first choreographed dance, Amy’s dress change into a stunning jumpsuit that she graced us all super model-like by having a grand entrance to the song Jesse’s Girl and not to mention Amy did almost every single floral piece by herself. I still have the plant she gifted me from their engagement session as well. She’s quite the botanist.

I have no words on how grateful I am to know and have met Amy and Jesse (and their friends, families and cats). I can’t wait to capture their next adventure…which I have a feeling will involve some darling chickens, and I hope to toast over drinks soon to their absolutely perfect, legendary, epic wedding! I’m also so grateful to know Jesse’s dad, a fellow photographer, who is gracious, talented and just as kind as his son and daughter-in-law.

Love you both so much!!!

All my love,
